This Wednesday April 1 at 5pm EDT I’m hosting my first LIVE webinar over on LinkedIn. It’s called “Build the Floor Plan That Supports Your Staffing Model.”

No, it has nothing to do with facilities, and no, you don’t need any power tools (sorry, if you got a little excited, but I assure you, you don’t want me handling power tools!)

In all seriousness, I want to tell you WHY this topic before I tell you what we’re covering.

I’ve spent the better part of the last 20 years walking hospital floors. Whether it be in clinical roles, in management, or in regional operations overseeing multiple hospitals at a time. The thing that has followed me through every single one of those environments?

I’ve rarely encountered a hospital leader who looked at their physical space as part of their responsibility. Most hospital leaders take what they are given, throw up their hands and say some version of “well what else am I supposed to do? it’s not like I can knock down a wall!” … Unless you’re this one manager who actually DID knock down a wall… but that’s a whole different conversation and probably what we’ll be talking about here 🫣…. I digress….

Most hospital leaders inherited a building, maybe they care about team-based care, subscribe to it and try to run this way inside their four walls. But the space is fighting them every shift in ways they’ve stopped noticing because the team adapted and the workarounds became the normal. It becomes the age old story of “this is how it’s always been.”

That’s what we’re talking about Wednesday. Not renovation. Not construction. But the decisions you make about how work flows through the space you already have. Those decisions are yours. And they either support your team or they quietly tax them.

It’s free.

It’s live.

Register here and I’ll send you the replay link whether you can make it live or not.

See you Wednesday!

Suzanne
